Google Postpones its Decision to Return to Office.

On Wednesday, CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai told employees that the company needs vaccination to return to the office. The move was taken due to the spread of the highly contagious delta variant of the Covid-19 virus.

The company also postponed compulsory return to the office from September to October 18. Pichai said that the policies will be sent to employees according to the local conditions.

He also added that the guidance and exceptions will be given to employees, who cannot get vaccinated due to some medical or personal reasons.

“Getting vaccinated is one of the most important ways to keep ourselves and our communities healthy in the months ahead,” Pichai wrote in an email to employees. “I know that many of you continue to deal with very challenging circumstances related to the pandemic,” he said.
